Lunch and Learn
Three Kingston United Church Congregations have combined to offer an opportunity for learning and sociability through our Lunch & Learn program. Guest speakers offer their first-hand knowledge of global or local issues, trends, or events of particular relevance to our members and adherents. Attendees from Chalmers, Faith and Sydenham Street United meet the first Wednesday of the month, in-person and simultaneously over Zoom. Folks meeting in-person share conversation over tea and their home-made lunches in the lower hall at Sydenham Street United Church in The Spire; Zoom attendees share the pre-event conversation and speaker virtually; all attend the Q&A period following the speaker’s 30-40 min presentation.
