Our Music:

The choir sings “For the Healing of the Nations” by Henry Purcell

Sydenham Street United Church has a long history of excellence in Church music. The SSUC Choir, a vital part of our worship service, is led by our Music Director Glen Thompson. The choir sings an eclectic repertoire spanning five centuries of sacred music. It rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and sings for 10:30 a.m. worship services each Sunday from September through late June. New members are always welcome.

The congregation has identified music as an important part of our worship; they wish to have a diversity of musical expressions from classical to more contemporary.

Our award-winning art/poetry/music presentation, The Easter Road, brightens the walls of our sanctuary.
