Our Music

Please note all church services and choir rehearsals are cancelled for the foreseeable future due to covid-19 virus pandemic.

Sydenham Street United Church has a long history of excellence in Church music. The SSUC Choir, a vital part of our worship service, sings an eclectic repertoire spanning five centuries of sacred music. It rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and sings for 10:30 a.m. worship services each Sunday from September through late June. New members are always welcome.

The congregation has identified music as an important part of our worship; they wish to have a diversity of musical expressions from classical to more contemporary.

Our award-winning art/poetry/music presentation, The Easter Road, brightens the walls of our sanctuary.
